The Southern Coastlands

The Southern Coastlands makes up the Eastern half of the nation and the core city that lies in the Coastlands is Florida.Although Atlanta is not part of the area. Georgia is part of the transitional area of the Southern Coastlands. It is a subtropical region that is vulnerable to natural disasters such as hurricanes. Citrus fruits are a major part of the production in the region (florida orange juice). Most importantly the Southern Coastlands is known for the hazardous climate that occurs in the area.
Atlanta has a typica climate in which summers are extremely hot and winter time is cold where temperature reach as low as 30 degrees. According to the following chart you will see the average temperatures of the city.
